Bright, light red color. Intense aromas of red fruit, such as cherries and red berries. Hints of dark chocolate and slightly smoky notes. Fruity and fresh character with extremely mild tannin. Semi-Continental climate. Due to the protection of the Vosges, a microclimate with less rain prevails in Alsace than elsewhere in the region. Dry, cold winters and warm summers.
